Kelly Franklin McKenney, 56, of Leachville, Arkansas, passed away December 15, 2025, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

He was born on July 31, 1969, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to Johnny Ray, Sr., and Laura Sue McKenney.

He was preceded in death by his father and twin sister, Shelly Lynn McKenney. Kelly is survived by his mother, Laura Sue McKenney of Cabot, Arkansas, three children: Kaylee (Aaron) Nail of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Karli (Quade) Wilson of

Cabot, Arkansas, and Korey McKenney of Portageville, Missouri, two grandchildren: Sutton Nail and Liam Nail, and brother Johnny Ray (Teresa) McKenney Jr. of England, Arkansas, and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m followed by the funeral at 3:00 p.m. at Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Mike Book officiating. Pallbearers will be Richard Smart, Ricky Haywood, Richard Chailland, Joey Carr, Chris Conley, and Lance Conley. Honorary pallbearers will be Rodney Cooper and Charlie Brown. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas is in charge of the arrangements.

A private family burial will be held at Gravel Hill Cemetery at a later date.
