Kenneth
Rodery
Nov 26, 1945 — May 6, 2026
Kenneth Ray Rodery, 80, of Piggott, Arkansas passed away on May 6, 2026, at his home surrounded by family.
He was born on November 26, 1945, in Piggott, Arkansas, to Clarence Rodery and Earlene Nichols-Stipelcovich. Kenneth was united in marriage to Wanda Faye Mathias on June 13, 1970.
Kenneth proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a devoted member of The First General Baptist Church of Piggott, a member of Piggott Lodge #545, and a 32nd Degree Mason of the Valley of Jonesboro Orient of Arkansas.
For more than 25 years, Kenneth was the owner of East Main Body & Service in Piggott where his integrity earned him a respected place in the community. He was a husband, father, grandpa, little league coach, life-skill teacher, and most importantly a faithful follower of Christ.
Kenneth had a deep love for the outdoors. He found peace on the water with a fishing pole in hand, and later in life, he discovered a true passion for gardening. In the summer months, you could often find him at farmers markets across the region, sharing the fruits of his labor and a friendly conversation with anyone who stopped by.
Kenneth leaves behind his wife of 56 years and the love of his life, Wanda; his two sons, Travis Rodery and his wife Tiffany of Piggott, and Adam Rodery and his wife Kelly of McKinney, Texas; three grandchildren: Hadlee and Emerson Rodery of McKinney, Texas, and Joey Simpson of Piggott; and his two great-grandchildren, Murray and Sabbie Simpson of Piggott. He is also survived by his sister, Donna Ring, and his brother, John Rodery, both of Piggott.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Rodery; his stepmother, Vagel Rodery; his mother, Earlene Nichols-Stipelcovich and step-father Slim Stipelcovich; and his brother, Douglas Rodery.
Kenneth's life was a quiet testimony of faith, family, and hard work. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
