Kent Dewayne Grissom, 53, of Moro, Arkansas, passed away September 19, 2020. He was born on June 12, 1967, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the son of Kenneth Grissom and Mildred O'Dell Johnson. Kent was united in marriage to Rhonda Raynia Hambrick on February 23, 1990. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred O'Dell Johnson and brother, Rickey Gray. Kent operated heavy equipment for many years. He was known to be able to fix anything and people would bring him things to fix. Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Raynia Grissom of Moro, Arkansas; parents, Kenneth and Kathy Grissom of McDougal, Arkansas; son, Bradley Christopher Grissom and wife Jessica of Greers Ferry, Arkansas; daughter, Kristen Rodgers and husband Blake of Cabot, Arkansas; grandchildren, Izabelle, Payson, Cooper, Cashe, Maddox, and Caroline; brothers, Richard Phillips and wife Jennifer of Knobel, Arkansas, Bruce Phillips and wife Kelley of McDougal, Arkansas, and Lyndell "Chuckie" Grissom of Campbell, Missouri; sister, Stacey Phillips of Bernie, Missouri, Donna Lotz of Plant City, Florida, and Terri Tennison of Plant City, Florida; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Chapel with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Johnny Bradshaw officiating. Burial is in Mars Hill Cemetery in Crockett, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Todd Kilbreath, Keith Garver, Kevin Hardin, Keith Hardin, Wade Harris, and Colby Phillips.
