LaRue Russell, 86, of Selmer, Tennessee, formerly of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away July 5, 2018, at Selmer, Tennessee. She was born on October 2, 1931, in Pontotoc, Mississippi, and was the daughter of the late William McKinley and Mary Etta (Ramsey) Blagg. She was preceded in death by her father, William McKinley Blagg; mother, Mary Etta Blagg; grandson, Chris Russell; siblings: Edith Britt, Laura Moore, Joan Strnad, and Kenneth Blagg. Survivors include her son, John Russell of Adamsville, Tennessee; daughter, Martha Rickman of Selmer, Tennessee; grandchildren: Stacy Bradshaw and wife Amber of Caruthersville, Missouri, Melissa Tedford and husband Greg of Selmer, Tennessee, and Angie Russell; great-grandchildren: Brandan Bradshaw, Jonathan Tedford, Kailey Tedford, and Cayden Tedford; sister, Bobbie Russell of Piggott, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, July 8, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with O.H. Brooks officiating and Stacy Bradshaw assisting. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Stacy Bradshaw, Brandan Bradshaw, Greg Tedford, Johnny Gardner, Justin Hooten, and Zac Russell. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, AR, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Saturday at 6:00 p.m.
