Lemuel Fair, 69, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away September 7, 2020, at his home. He was born on June 2, 1951, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the son of Calvin and Ruby (Meade) Fair. Lemuel was united in marriage to Susan Shepard on May 20, 1999. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Penny Poole; and brother, Tim Fair. Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Susan Fair of Piggott, Arkansas; stepson, Jeremy Shepard; two granddaughters, Courtney Murphee, Casey Samples; three great-granddaughters; brother, Larry Fair and wife Mary Elle; sister, Cathy Jo Hallmark; sister-in-law, Sharon Fair; nephew, Timothy and Derek Fair; two nieces, Dawn Mayes and Krystal Garrett; great nephews, Austin and Brett Fair; great-niece, Brittnay Fair; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home with graveside services following at 12:15 p.m. at Piggott Cemetery with Bro.
