Lina Mae Jackson, 90, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, May 22, 2010, in Murphy Health and Rehab in Piggott, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late William Marshall and Nellie Mae Russell Sanders. She was also preceded in death by her son, Donald Jackson; one sister, Elline Cato; infant brother, Marvin Roscoe Sanders; and one brother, Albert Newton Sanders. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Louise Nahmias of Fontana, California; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers: John Marshall Sanders of Ozark, Missouri, William Monroe Sanders of Malden, Missouri, and Billy George Sanders of Jonesboro, Arkansas; two sisters: Ruby Leona Mungle of Patton, Missouri, and Willa Gertrude Wikowsky of Rector, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 27, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. in Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Steve Oliver officiating. Burial is in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Thursday until service time.
