Obituary

Linda J Hoadley, 80, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at home December 12, 2022.

She was born February 21, 1942, in Rockford, Illinois, to Charles F. Busse and Evelyn Busse.

Mom enjoyed Word Search puzzles, Western movies, and watching General Hospital. She was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and even got signatures of players. In Texas she got to see Elvis Presley perform in concert, which was one of her favorite performers. On Thursday nights she enjoyed her girls coming over for cards and snacks.

She worked various places. The jobs she liked best were child care, where she loved telling stories on her kids and Aramark and Dallas Airport, where she was a grill cook and loved talking to different pilots about places they had been. Her favorite foods were open faced hot roast beef sandwiches and KFC. Her girls would always pick her up KFC chicken pot pie when they came by to see her.

Linda is survived by her children: Evelyn Connell, Cynthia Sehl, Teresa Burr and husband (her favorite son-in-law) Billy, and son Al Jr Cowgill all of Piggott, Arkansas; eleven grandchildren; 26 great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren- celebrating five generation in 2018. Her siblings: Kay Ward and Carol Boncouri of Illinois; and many other relatives and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Chuck; infant son, Anthony; the father of her five children, Albert R. Cowgill; and her late husband of 33 years, David Hoadley.

No services are planned. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, was in charge of the arrangements.
