Linda Cole Poole was born May 16, 1948, and departed this life on October 3, 2021, after a long battle with cancer, with her devoted husband Don Poole and son Stacey and his fiancé Lisa by her side.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Bill and Kathleen (Jewell) Cole; mother and father-in-law, Jewell (Speer) Poole and E.C. Poole; sisters-in-law, Patsy Poole and Erbadale Smart; brother-in-law, Sonny Smart; niece, Penny Poole; and nephew, Ricky Smart.
She is survived by her husband, Don Poole; son, Stacey Poole and fiancée Lisa; four grandsons, James Cole Poole, Ethan Carroll Poole, Caleb Woodson Poole, and Kyle Henry Poole; her sister, Sandy Cole Scott and husband Mike; brothers-in-law, Gerayne Poole and Jim Poole and wife Pat; sister-in-law, Sheila Poole; nephews, Russell (Jerica) Scott, Sam (Sarah) Poole, Eddie (Mona) Poole, Charlie (Lynn) Poole, Chad (Nikki) Speer; nieces, Gail Benson (Ron), Felicia Faulk, Amanda Jackson, Ashley (Michael) Hoggard.
Linda was a long term member of the Hopewell General Baptist Church of Greenway, Arkansas, where she served as secretary.
She worked for Fry Equipment and Baker Implement Co. for 50 years until her retirement in January 2020.
Linda enjoyed her family, friends, and church. She loved to read and was a history buff. She loved traveling and camping at the lake with friends and family. She was preceded in death by faithful companions Liz, Alex, Sissy, and Muffy.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be Friday, November 26, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Piggott Cemetery.
