Obituary

Lindell Williams, 71, of Holcomb, Missouri, known as the 'The Glove Man' to many, passed away May 3, 2016, at the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. He was born on August 7, 1944, in Doniphan, Missouri, and was the son of the late George and Lois Woodring Williams. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Hershel Williams; and a sister, Louise Williams. He enjoyed sitting around a fire telling stories and making people laugh. He was full of wisdom and knowledge and loved to share that with those he loved. Survivors include his wife, Nancy (Fuller) Williams of Holcomb, Missouri; four children: Paul Williams and wife Wanda of Holcomb, Missouri, Joe Williams and wife Denise of Holcomb, Missouri, Frank Williams and wife Kelly of Piggott, Arkansas; Kenna Timmons and husband Nathan of Piggott, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Jolee Ackley, Jon Williams, Taylor King, Brody Williams, and Gabriel Timmons; two great-grandsons: Braxton Garcia and Zaine King; sister, Peggy Williams of Malden, Missouri; two brothers: Russell Williams of Piggott, Arkansas, and Dan William of Thayer, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held Friday, May 6, 2016, from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a funeral service beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Lonny Mittag officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
