Lisa May Loyd, 52, of Paragould, Arkansas, formerly of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away September 14, 2018, at her group home in Paragould, Arkansas. She was born on June 25, 1966, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and was the daughter of the late Arthur "Ott" and Louise (Andrew) Loyd. Survivors include her sisters, Diane Block and husband Robert Block, Sr. of Metropolis, Illinois, and Annette Hill of Piggott, Arkansas; brother, Arthur Loyd, Jr. and wife Monica of Pocahontas, Arkansas; nephews, David Hill, James Dale, and Bob Block, Jr.; nieces: Cindy Brooksher, Anna Drake, and Elizabeth Smith; great nieces and nephews: Laci Lee Hill, Lee-J Hill, Dallas and Logan Dale, Owen Smith, Madison Drake, and Daxon Drake; and many other relatives and friends. Lisa is also survived by her housemates at her group home in Paragould: George, Lisa, and Suzanna. In addition, she is survived by the staff of the group home who loved and took care of her for many years before her illness and during the past ten months during her battle with cancer. And Charles who drove her back and forth to work for many years. Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 17, 2018, at 11:00 am at Hitts Chapel General Baptist Church in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Charles Richardson officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Robert Block, Sr., Robert Block, Jr., Logan Dale, Rex Smart, Charles Griggs, and Ronnie Baker. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas.
