Lois Dell (Tanner) Bradford, 91, of Rector, Arkansas, passed from this life January 11, 2022, at her home.
She was born March 13, 1930, in Clay County, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Robert Celeston "R.C." and Mary Rosetta (Trout) Tanner.
Lois was united in marriage to Rudy Bradford on June 12, 1946, and to this union a child was born. She was a retired Piggott School Cafeteria worker. She was also a member of the Blooming Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rudy Bradford; two brothers, Roy Tanner and Pat Tanner; three sisters, Mary Bradford, Virginia "Tootsie" Carman, and Glenda Jean Tanner.
Lois is survived by her son, Gary Bradford and wife Kim of Rector, Arkansas; sister, Donna Haywood of Piggott, Arkansas; granddaughter, Amanda Brannon and husband Jordan of Rector, Arkansas; three great-grandchildren, Addisyn, Austin, and Easton Brannon; and many other relatives and friends.
She was a devoted, loving and kind hearted woman who loved the Lord and her family with all of her heart. Her family and friends were blessed to enjoy her cooking and was known as one of the best cooks around.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Robert Moore officiating. Burial is in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Jordan Brannon, Mike Jetton, Eddie Lovins, Keith Haywood, Larry Davis, and Jeff Puckett. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
