Lois Imogene Winstead Smith, age 101, of Lamesa, Texas, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020. Lois was born in Greenway, Arkansas, to John and Lydia Winstead on February 5, 1919. Lois attended school in Greenway where she met Roy McCoy Smith. They were married on June 15, 1939. They had four sons Terry, Don, Dudley, and Dennis. Lois had one brother and four sisters. Lois was preceded in death by her husband Roy; son, Don; infant daughter; and grandson, Jimmy Todd. She is survived by Terry and wife Marilyn; daughter-in-law, Judy; Dudley and wife Linda, Dennis and wife JoBeth. Lois has 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren. Lois was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church. A graveside service will be held Friday, December 4, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas, with Bro. Mark Book officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of arrangements.
