Lonnie Duane Frederick, 72, of Pollard, Arkansas, passed away February 3, 2020, at home in Pollard, Arkansas.
He was born on November 13, 1947, in Pollard, Arkansas, and was the son of Jack and Maxine (Holifield) Frederick.
Lonnie was united in marriage to Deborah Ilene (Tyler) Frederick on November 1, 1980.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Harrison Frederick; mother, Maxine Frederick, wife, Deborah Ilene Frederick; brothers, Jack Frederick, James Edward Frederick and Dale Gene Frederick; sisters, Vanessa Frederick and Judy Anne Frederick.
Lonnie was honorably discharged from the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War from 1967 until 1968. He was a Purple Heart recipient. Lonnie was honored to serve in the honor guard during President Dwight D. Eisenhower's funeral.
Survivors include his son, Bryan (Crystal) Ethridge of Fayetteville, Arkansas; daughters, Becky Jo (Jason) Brown of Conway, Arkansas, Jennifer (Bill Knox) Frederick of Foristell, Missouri, Julie Rabe of Warrenton, Missouri, and Heather (Matt) Humphrey of St. Charles, Missouri; grandchildren, Matthew, Meagan, Michael, Monica, Alyssa, Kamryn, Brady, Jake, Asher, Blade, and Arabella; great-grandchildren, Caden, Kailey Jaycie, Mateo, Isaias, Sawyer, Everett, Landen, Liannah, Anakin, and Tinley; brother, Ted (Paula) Frederick of Ash Flat, Arkansas; sisters, Mary Beth (George) Lee of Ash Flat, Arkansas, Ruth Howell, and Ruby Lybolt; Sandra Edinton, cousin, caregiver and friend; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, February 9, 2020, at 12:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Johnny Bradshaw officiating. Burial is in Cummins Chapel Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Mathew Hupper, Brady Humphrey, Bronson Edington, Jesse Edington, Jimmie Holcomb and Patrick Barks. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
