Louella Lennie Burkman, 90, of Pollard, Arkansas, passed away January 28, 2022, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. She was born on March 28, 1931, in Holcomb, Missouri, and was the daughter of Herman and Dimple Lennie (Hicks) Steward. Louella was united in marriage to Jodey Burkman on February 4, 1950. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jodey Burkman; father, Herman Steward; mother, Dimple Lennie Steward; three brothers, Sherman Dean Steward, Winard Ray Steward, and Mandell Steward; three sisters, Marcella Torres, Nellie Suhar, and Evalene Bishop. Louella is survived by her son, Gaylon Burkman and wife Barbara of Pollard, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jason Burkman and wife Keri, Gavin Burkman and wife Lori, Darrell Conaway, and Kimberly Conaway; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and many other relatives and friends. A private family burial will be held at Piggott Cemetery. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
