Lucy Mae Bond Carroll, was born on Thursday, September 20, 1934, in Pollard, Arkansas, to Benjamin Harrison Bond, and Florence Fay Carrico Bond. Lucy went to live with Jesus on Thursday, July 30th, 2020. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, and her great grandson, Owen Reese Carroll. Lucy's life changed forever in 1998, when she trusted Jesus Christ as her Savior. She was a faithful member of Cross Church, in Rogers, Arkansas. Lucy is survived by her daughters, Linda (Bill) Cooper of Paragould, Arkansas, Dana (Mark) Tanner of Garfield, Arkansas, her beloved grandson, Christopher (Suzanne) Carroll, great grandson, Joseph Carroll, great granddaughter, Chaitralia Carroll, all of Schönaich, Germany, her brother, Paul (Joyce) Bond, many nieces and nephews, her best friend, Marceline Presson, of Piggott, Arkansas, and a host of other great friends. Lucy wore many hats for the Greenway School system, and later, Clay County Central, for nearly thirty years. She devoted her life to meeting the needs of others, especially kids, and was a second mom to many. She made sure everyone was fed, clothed and loved. She volunteered tirelessly for many years at her church, school events, the Greenway Picnic, and many other charitable causes, including raising money for Cancer Awareness. She was a friend to all, and was loved dearly. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 10, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Shawn Parker officiating. A visitation will begin Saturday at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to your local children's shelter or local food bank.
