Lura Sue Yost, 51, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away May 23, 2013, at the Piggott Community Hospital. She was born on December 2, 1961, in Flint, Michigan, and was the daughter of Max and Georgia Carpenter Yost. Her father, Max Yost, preceded her in death. Sue was a graduate of Flushing High School in Michigan. She is survived by her mother, Georgia Yost of Piggott, Arkansas; sister, Ann Jarvis and husband Clyde of Germantown, Tennessee; nieces, Baylee Wilkerson and Blair Jarvis; uncles: Johnnie Carpenter and wife Viola of Marmaduke, Arkansas, and Rex Yost and wife Evelyn of Michigan; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 25, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Marston Carpenter officiating. Burial is in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation begins at 1:00 p.m. Saturday until service time.
