Lyman Earl Anderson, 73, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017, at his home in Piggott, Arkansas, surrounded by his family. He was born on January 30, 1944, in Arbyrd, Missouri, to the late Coy and Bonnie (Thorne) Anderson. He worked for ten years at the Buick plant in Flint, Michigan, before returning home and going to work for the Darling Factory in Piggott where he retired. His loves in life included fishing and mowing the yard. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Anderson; his parents; two brothers: Donald and Dennis Anderson; and one sister, Brenda Jolly. He is survived by his two daughters: Diana Petrick and husband Rob of Michigan, and Linda Anderson of Piggott; one son, Earl Wayne Anderson of Michigan; two grandchildren: GioVanni Petrick of Michigan, and Celena Anderson of Michigan; and one great grandchild, Jonathon McKinnon. He also leaves behind many relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held Monday, December 11, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. in the Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be held Monday, December 11, 2017, at the Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
