Margie Lee Hollis Wesserling was born on March 26, 1928, and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on January 23, 2021, after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Richard Francis Wesserling; her parents, Linnie and Charley Hollis; brothers, Fred and Sidney Hollis; and sister, Bea Gilbert. She is survived by her daughter, Anna (James) Vince; sons, Chuck Wesserling and John (Gretchen) Wesserling; grandchildren, Aaron, Allison, Austin, and Devan; great grandson, Levi; sister, Nancy Benson; brothers, Jim and Elmo Hollis; and many nieces and nephews. Margie was born in Piggott and moved to Michigan to pursue a job. She lived in Michigan and raised her family. After retirement, she and her husband divided their time between Michigan and Arkansas. They eventually moved back to Arkansas full time and both enjoyed the country life very much. Margie loved her hometown of Piggott. She was a member of the First General Baptist Church and was active in the Piggott Community Center. Everyone who knew Margie loved her. The family would like to thank the staff of Legacy Hospice for the loving care they gave to Margie and caring support they provided to her family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
