Marie Pitts, 94, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away April 23, 2025, at Rector Nursing and Rehab in Rector, Arkansas.

She was born on February 2, 1931, in Casa, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Albert and Modine (Fowler) Davison.

Marie was united in marriage to Don Pitts on January 5, 1951, and to this union three daughters were born.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don Pitts; daughter, Deb Sagert; brothers, Robert Davison and Lemoin Davison; sisters, Lela Scott and Grace Bunch.

Marie is survived by two daughters, Diane (Bob) Arthur of Rowlett, Texas, Donna (Kent) Coomer of Piggott, Arkansas; son-in-law, Buddy Sagert of Louisville, Texas; grandchildren: Landon Coomer, Joel (Andrea) Coomer, Felicia (Justin) Pancake, Nick (Whitney) Sagert, Jonah (Susie) Arthur, Ben Arthur, and Sarah (Jesse) Holcomb; great-grandchildren: Ray, Mollie, Lynzie , Hayley, Myles, Logan, Ari, and Jack; sisters, Vela Williams of Cardwell, Missouri and Sue Garrett of St. Charles, Missouri; brothers, Sam (Kaye) Davison of Oklahoma, Wayne (Brenda) Davison of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Carroll Davison of Paragould, Arkansas; brother-in-law, Dudley (Regina) Pitts; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 25, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Jerry Morgan and Kason Lawrence officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Landon Coomer, Joel Coomer, Nick Sagert, Jonah Arthur, Jared Langley, and Lance Langley. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Friday from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in memory of Marie's daughter, Deb Sagert.
