Sep 22, 1940 — Mar 27, 2026
Mary Bridgeman, 85, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away on March 27, 2026, at Campbell Healthcare and Senior Living in Campbell, Missouri.
She was born on September 22, 1940, in Peach Orchard, Missouri, to Willie and Ancie (Cheshire) Norton.
Mary was united in marriage to Philip Bridgeman on June 21, 1963. He preceded her in death, along with her parents and her siblings: Jimmy Norton, George Norton, Pete Norton, Walter Norton, and Jean Hendrix.
Mary was known for her deep love for children and her nurturing spirit. She faithfully raised her own daughters, but her care extended far beyond her immediate family. She found great joy in a house full of laughter and life, and her kindness left a lasting impression on all who were blessed to know her.
She is survived by her loving family:
Her daughter, Karen (Eddie) Marrow of Kennett, Missouri; granddaughter, Courtney (Dustin) Patterson; and great-grandchildren, Lynnley Patterson and Mason Patterson.
Her daughter, Phyllis Tanner of Holcomb, Missouri; grandsons, Clay (Lindsey) Tanner of Corning, Arkansas, and Cole (Tyara) Tanner of Piggott, Arkansas; and great-grandchildren, Cannon Ervin, Levi Tanner, Paisley Tanner, Landry Tanner, Joycelyn Tanner, and Sutton Tanner.
Her daughter, Janette (Randy) Dunlap of Piggott, Arkansas; grandchildren, Keegan (Jeanie) Dunlap of Paragould, Arkansas, Chase Dunlap of Piggott, Arkansas, and Mae (Josh) Haywood of Greenway, Arkansas; and great-grandchildren, Arianna Davis, Gabriella Carrasco, Leland Green, and Rowyn Haywood.
She is also survived by her sister, Exie (Herbert) Dickens of Wappapello, Missouri; a special niece, Judy Taylor of Kennett, Missouri; many other nieces and nephews; and her beloved cat, Gabby.
