Obituary

Mary Davidson Wilkerson, 87, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away July 12, 2021, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. She was born on November 10, 1933, in Hornersville, Missouri, and was the daughter of the late Albert Franklin and Violet Gladys (Cagle) Mayo. Mary was united in marriage to Doyle Davidson and to this union five children were born. She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle "Gene" Davidson; son, Glenn Davidson; daughter, Kimberly MacNeill; and infant sister, Lola and sister, Geraldine Rhew. Mary was a member of the Church of Christ and attended until her health make her unable to attend. She loved flowers and especially enjoyed her rose bushes. She also enjoyed reading, listening to music, and watching old western movies. She read her Bible daily until her eyesight got too bad and then she began listening to the Bible on tapes. Mary is survived by her children, Dennis Davidson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Cindy Anderson of Kennett, Missouri, and Thressa Book and husband Mark Kevin of Piggott, Arkansas; grandchildren, Michael Davidson, Amber Gray, Samantha Bendle, Christy Blurton, Shawn Davidson, Gary Davidson, Amanda Payne, Chad Book, Marisa Book, Laura Mayberry, Alexis Babcock, Carrie Beth Gates, and Scott Anderson; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Seth, Kylie, Mercedes, Zachery, Trinity, Aiden, Ryan, Emmy, Kaylee, Lauren, Conner, Caleb, Destiny, Chloe, Hannah, Taron, Chase, Abby, Morgan, Holly, Kaydee, Dakota, Caleb, Ella, Hayden, Brandon, Sebastion, Zander, Reagan, Brooklin, Kamryn, and Kade; and great-great grandson, Jaxon; sister, Patsy Davis of Piggott, Arkansas; nieces, Susan Fry and Joann Skaggs; nephews, Danny and Mike Rhew; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Nolan Glover officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Dakota Book, Chad Book, Mark Kevin Book, Johnny Payne, Gary Davidson, and Dewayne Blurton. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Wednesday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. in Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas.
