Matthew Allen Johnson, 54, of Corning, Arkansas, passed away June 3, 2019, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on November 17, 1964, in Rockford, Illinois, and was the son of Harold and Barbara (Larson) Johnson. Matthew was united in marriage to Cindy Kay Hendley Johnson on May 26, 1989. He loved fishing, hunting and family and especially enjoyed hunting with family. Survivors include his wife, Cindy Kay Johnson of Corning, Arkansas; son, Matthew Robert Johnson of Corning, Arkansas; father, Harold Johnson of Nimmons, Arkansas; mother, Barbara Johnson of Nimmons, Arkansas; sisters, Mary (Kenny) Hendley of Cave City, Arkansas, Joanne (Scottie) Brandon of Manilla, Arkansas and Roberta (Charles) Baber of Nimmons, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. No services are planned. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
