Mike enjoyed spending time tending to his vegetable garden. He especially loved his faithful dog, Buster, who was a constant companion. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his dear friend, Michael Stump. He is survived by his wife, Melissa Haley of the home; daughter, Michelle Copelin and husband Jim of Jonesboro, Arkansas; grandsons, Brendan and Harry; brother, Keith Haley and wife Dina of Holcomb, Missouri and Steven Haley of Piggott, Arkansas; sister, Vicky Gribble and husband Clete of Illinois; along with many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him. Visitation will be held Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas. A graveside service will immediately follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery in St. Francis, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Scott Taylor, Whitney Thompson, Tony Cogburn, and Kevin Brock. Honorary pallbearers will be Darrin Burdin, MJ Stump, Patrick Cole, Jim Copelin, Brian Haley, David Scales, Jack Tanner, and Alan Burdin.
