Michael Lawrence Pratt

1958-2025 - 66 Years Old

Born December 23, 1958 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, at St Bernard's Hospital and passed away February 8, 2025 comfortably at his home in Las Vegas, Nevada.

With many heavy hearts we are announcing the passing of Michael Lawrence Pratt. Michael was born in Jonesboro Arkansas at St. Bernard's on December 23,1958, to mother of Nola H Pratt and father of Robert M Pratt.

Michael's early years of life were spent traveling amongst the United States and Europe as his father was active duty in the army and eventually found themselves in Killeen, Texas, where he later met his wife, Lois D Kousman where they joined in union in 1984. He then moved to Phoenix, Arizona, and had two sons, Timothy N Pratt and Alan S Pratt. He was an entrepreneur and owned/operated multiple successful businesses in different states throughout his lifetime. His passion and dedication to his work created a multi-generational family business which extended into his hobbies. He ran a fencing company for 37 years and found great joy in restorations and repairs of classic vehicles, heavy equipment, and farming in his spare time. He purchased property in Piggott, Arkansas, in 2001 to move his family to a different lifestyle and be closer to his family that resided throughout  Arkansas. Michael was extremely passionate about his family and his profession and was very well known for his "get it done" attitude and unwavering drive to accomplish anything he set his mind to doing.

Michael is survived by his mother, Nola H Elliott of Piggott, Arkansas; spouse, Lois Darlene Pratt; two sons, Timothy N Pratt and Alan S Pratt of Las Vegas, Nevada; and sister, Karen Patillo Bristol of Killeen, Texas.

He is proceeded in death by his father, Robert M Pratt; Step Father, Arnold V Elliott; brother, Dennis Pratt; and sister, Melody Ann Ingram Lytle.

Services were held on April 12, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Brother Kevin Murray officiating and burial will held at the Piggott Cemetery.
