Minnie Marie Rouse, 93, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away September 11, 2020, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She was born on May 4, 1927, in Nicut, Oklahoma, and was the daughter of Houston and Clara (Adams) Casey.
Minnie was united in marriage to W.E. Rouse on October 4, 1954, at to this union two daughters, Linda and Pam, were born.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, W.E. Rouse; sisters, Faye Shelley and Melissa McGuire.
Minnie was a homemaker and farmer's wife. She had a very green thumb and could start anything. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting. She attended First Baptist Church in Piggott, Arkansas, for many years and became close friends with the ladies at the church. Minnie especially loved her little dog, Ladybug.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda Rouse of Piggott, Arkansas and Pam Bailey and husband Bryan of Greenway, Arkansas; grandson, Matthew Darnell; special friends, Marie Pitts and Annie Niewald and other close friends from First Baptist Church.
Visitation is Monday, September 14, 2020, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home with a graveside service immediately following at Piggott Cemetery with Rondal Richardson officiating. Pallbearers are Dan Gossett, Darrell Gossett, Danny McFarlin, Andy Dixon, Vivan Reed, and John Brawner. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
