Miriam 'Myra' Luter, 85, of Corning, Arkansas, passed away February 6, 2016, at the Corning Nursing Home in Corning, Arkansas. She was born on February 26, 1930, in Crockett, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Millard and Minnie Curry. She was united in marriage to Elvin Mearl Parrish in 1946 and to this union six children were born. She married Woodrow Luter in 1968. He preceded her in death in 1975. She was also preceded in death by her son, Wayne Parrish; her grandchildren, Verlisa Hampton and Ronald Hampton, Jr.; her siblings, M.L. Curry, Thelma Childers, Bertha Clemons, Leona Parrish, Lela Cox, and Georgia Bolen. Survivors include her children: Donna Hampton and husband Ronnie of Belleville, Illinois, Pam Bradberry and husband Terry of McDougal, Arkansas, Theresa Kilbreath and husband Danny of McDougal, Dana Hill and husband David of Wynne, Arkansas, and Tonya Hudgens and husband Steve of Sherwood, Arkansas; grandchildren: Erica Hampton, Jamie Smith, Melanie Storms, Kenni Rae Foster, Marcus Kilbreath, Morgan Hill, James Samuel Walls, Miriam Alexandria Walls, and Lauren Walls; five great-grandchildren: Madison Williams, Ryan Storms, Ally Kilbreath, Wes Kilbreath, and Zowie Smith; and many other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home with a graveside service following at 4:30 at Corning Cemetery in Corning, Arkansas.
