Misty Marie Carolyn Corter, 31, of Greenway, Arkansas, passed away May 20, 2024, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

She was born on July 11, 1992, in Paragould, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Scottie Dean and Laura Marie (Durant) Corter.

She was preceded in death by her father, Scottie Dean Corter, and nephew, William Poe.

Misty is survived by her son, Ian Corter, mother, Laura Corter; sisters, Janna Poe and husband Josh of Piggott, Arkansas, and Scottie Corter of Greenway, Arkansas; niece, Keylani Faith McComb; nephew, Hudson Dean Poe; and many other relatives and friends.

Misty was a free-spirited, one-of-a-kind individual, who loved deeply those around her. Her son, Ian, was her whole world, her pride and joy who she lived for and loved so much. She especially loved her niece and nephew, Keylani and Hudson, who she enjoyed spoiling. Misty enjoyed planning parties except when it came to the actual decorating. Misty also enjoyed trying to be an influencer. Those close to her will miss her funny and caring personality. She was a great mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 31, 2024, at 5:00 pm at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Shawn Parker officiating. A private family burial will be held at Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements..
