Clifford H. Phelps, 83, of Fagus, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2011, in the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, Missouri. He was born on January 4, 1928 in Dupo, Illinois, and was the son of the late William H. and Ida Thiele Phelps. He was united in marriage to Alene Guthrie in August of 1955. She preceded him in death on March 10, 2011. He is survived by two brothers: William R. Phelps of Columbia, Illinois, and Harry Phelps of St. Louis, Missouri; and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 22, 2011 in the Rombauer Cemetery with Gary Hancock officiating. Burial will be in the Rombauer Cemetery with Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas in charge of the arrangements.
