Nathan Catterton, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away one December 27, 2017 of a heart attack at his home. He is the son of Paul and Melva Ann Vaughn Catterton. He is survived by his mother, two brothers Paul Catterton of Forestell, Missouri and Sterling Catterton of Marmaduke, Arkansas; one nephew Bengermin Catterton of Cameron Missouri, two neices Kristal Roberson of Columbia, Missouri and Ashley Catterton of Piggott, Arkansas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Nathan graduated Piggott, High School and joined the Navy. He was a dental technician, and during his twenty years of service to our country he served all around the world. He was serving on the USS Nimitz when the President attempted to rescue hostages being held by Iran. He also served during Desert Storm (The hundred hour war).
Nathan finished his master's degree in business administration at Averett University in Virginia. Then went to work for the federal government in San Antonio, Texas. He was looking forward to attending his class reunion last fall, but the weather prevented him from making the journey.
