Neadem Joseph Benefield, 62, of Campbell, Missouri, passed away December 23, 2025, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. He was born on September 5, 1963, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the son of the late George Thomas and Mary M. (Cryer) Benefield. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, O'Dell Otte; sister, Martha Jane Benefield; and brother-in-law, Charles Colter. NJ is survived by his children: Sebastian Huitt of Sikeston, Missouri, Ashley Reed of Doniphan, Missouri, Chyna Benefield of Campbell, Missouri, and Natalie Benefield of Norfolk, Virginia; brothers, Larry (Donna) Otte of Lenexa, Virginia, and Elec Eugene (Peggy) Otte of Wilhelmina, Missouri; sisters, Pat Colter of Piggott, Arkansas, Bobbie (Robin) White of Paragould, Arkansas, and Mary K. Benefield of Piggott, Arkansas; many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. The family will hold a private service. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
