Throughout her working years, Nelda was employed by Brown Shoe Company and Rector Sportswear. She also spent five years traveling the country alongside her husband as a truck driver, making memories together wherever the road led. She is survived by her beloved husband, Max Belote; her children, Darrell Belote and wife Melody of Decatur, Indiana, Tammy Crossfield and husband Scott of Piggott, Arkansas, and Crystal Belote of Kennett, Missouri; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Denielle Burns (Scott), Marissa Blossom (Jeremiah Stanton), Kacey Crossfield, Colby Dixon (Logan), Wesley Buchanan, Charlie Dennis, and Bodie Dennis; her great-grandchildren, Sophia, Scarlette, Sailor, Ryker, and Grant; her brother, James Reeves and wife Christine; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends who will miss her greatly. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Charles Richardson officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. A private family burial will be held at Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas.
