Nellie Gossett, 88, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Monday, June 20, 2011, in the General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, Missouri. She was born on April 15, 1923, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Glen and Hattie Fields Campbell. She was united in marriage to Marion Gossett on September 18, 1940, and he preceded her in death in 1987. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Williams and five siblings, Mildred Gossett, Otho Campbell, Sydney Campbell, Clyde Campbell, and Betty Sherfield. Survivors include her son, Dan Gossett and wife Connie of Piggott, Arkansas; daughter, Eve Lambert and husband Gary of Mountain Home, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Dana Gossett, Kelly Bowling and husband Larry, Geoffery Horneker, and Daniel Gossett and wife Mistie; two great grandchildren: Trey and Elise Gossett; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Kevin Murray and Rob Welborn officiating. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas.
