Oneida Glenrose Pittman Gatlin, 93, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012, at the Piggott Community Hospital. She was born January 21, 1919, in Qulin, Missouri She was a member of General Baptist Church in St. Francis, Arkansas. Oneida was married to Alfred Howard Gatlin on February 23, 1935, and he preceded her in death on June 29, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Roy E. Pittman and Viola Jones Pittman; stepmother, Agnes Brawner Pittman; one brother; one grandson, Marty Edward Hoggard; and one great-great grandson, Wil Shaw. She is survived by four children: LeRoy Gatlin and wife Dorothy of Piggott, Arkansas, Joyce Hoggard and husband Cornelious "Punk" of Piggott, Arkansas, Cledis Gatlin and wife Patsy of St. Ann, Missouri, and Wendell Gatlin of Florissant, Missouri; seven grandchildren: Ann Travillian, Debra Hoggard, Nancy Higdon, Kara Koch, Kim Gatlin, Bryan Gatlin, and Jeff Gatlin; 10 great-grandchildren: Jamie Shaw, Amy Mills, Jamie Nash, Justin Nash, Tegan Gatlin, Trent Gatlin, Jennifer Pinkley, Kyle Koch, Brandon Hoggard, Bradley Hoggard; ten great-great grandchildren; one brother, Lenard Pittman of Clarksville, Tennessee; two sisters, Fay Jenson of Coco Beach, Florida, and Lou Atha of Columbus, Ohio; and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 27, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Charles Richardson and Grayson Atha officiating. Burial is in Hall Cemetery near St. Francis, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Bryan Gatlin, Mike Travillian, Larry Ezell, Lester Edwards, Justin Nash, Kenny Koch, and Ricky Haywood.
