Oscar Otto Gunn, 86, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away May 2, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on May 29, 1932, in Mounds, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Ora Otto and Bessie Irene (Jackson) Gunn. Oscar was united in marriage to Albertine Smith and to this union seven children were born. He was preceded in death by his wife Albertine Gunn; children: Norma Jean Morgan, Darvin Riggs, and Jane Gunn; grandchildren: David Allen Wyatt and Tommy and Dennis Kibbler; great-grandchildren: Tyler Ray Saylors; four sisters; and one brother. Oscar was united in marriage to Carol Ann Winslow on May 5, 1989. He was a longtime member of Finch Baptist Church in Paragould, Arkansas, and attended Mars Hill United Methodist Church near Piggott, Arkansas. He loved working with his mules and horses and loved his grandchildren dearly. Survivors include his wife, Carol Ann Gunn; children: Dallas (Vickie) Gunn, Mike (Trish) Gunn, Chris Gunn, Billie Sue (Cletus) Baldwin, Ward (Marcia) Frahler, Aaron (Suzanne) Frahler, Ves (Rachel) Phelan; brother, Logan Lawson Gunn; 33 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 6, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Finch Baptist Church in Paragould, Arkansas, with Milburn Tinsley officiating. Burial is in Finch Cemetery in Paragould, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. until service time.
