Pansy Elena Gross, 89, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010, at Murphy Health and Rehab, where she resided for the past 6 years. She was born March 20, 1921, and was the daughter of the late Luther and Ada (Neeley) Nettles. She was married to Frank Gross on July 22, 1939. Frank and one daughter, Norma, and two sisters, Elvera Smith and Elvia Permenter preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter Sharon Tillman of Piggott, Arkansas; sister, Clella Whiteside of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; two grandsons, Jason Tillman and Dusty of Piggott, Arkansas, and Brech Tillman and Stephanie of Holcomb, Missouri; four great grandsons: Dillan, River, Mason, and Nicholas; and one great granddaughter, Aleyah; and many other relatives and friends. She always enjoyed gardening and entertaining family and friends in her home for many years. Service are Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Shawn Parker officiating. Burial is in Holcomb Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas.
