Patsy Adams, 80, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away March 7, 2017, at the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. She was born on October 16, 1936, in Pollard, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late John Wesley and Thelma Underwood Johnson. She was united in marriage to Lloyd Hays Adams and he preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by brother, Louis Wetzel Haynes and sister, Clara Mae Haise. Patsy was a member of the Fagus General Baptist Church in Fagus, Missouri. Pasty loved yard sales. She loved her church and her church family. Survivors include two sons: Denver Lee Stokes and wife Mai of Memphis, Tennessee, and Danny Leon Stokes and wife Robin of Beech Grove, Arkansas; daughter, Barbara Barker and husband Mick of Piggott, Arkansas; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers: "Sonny" Lon Wesley Johnson and wife Pearl of Pollard, Arkansas, and Jerry Johnson and wife Shirley of Hills, Minnesota; three sisters: Linda Jean Elkins of Pollard, Arkansas, Eithel Irene Webb of Pollard, Arkansas, and Janice Rodery of Pollard, Arkansas; and many nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 9, 2017, at 12:00 p.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Shelly Elkins officiating. Burial is in Leachville Cemetery in Leachville, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
