Patsy Hollis Edwards, 81, of Parkville, Missouri, passed away December 30, 2017, at her home in Parkville, Missouri. She was born on November 7, 1936, in Clay County, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Ernest J. and Tessie T. (Cosby) Hollis. She was united in marriage to Doilas Elton Edwards on August 13, 1954, and to this union two children were born. Doilas preceded her in death on November 30, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Michael B. Edwards; brothers: Frank Hollis, Francis Hollis, Denver Hollis, and Ernest Hollis, Jr.; and sisters: Joyce Hollis Hobbs, Alma Hollis Crossfield, Margaret Hollis Benesiuk, and Mildred Hollis Tiller. Her daughter, Cynthia G. Edwards and husband Kevin Kelly of Parkville, Missouri, survives. Patsy was a supporter of the St. Louis Cardinals and loved to garden. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 4, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with a graveside service following at 2:00 p.m. at the Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Rondal Richardson officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
