Paul Brantley Tanner, 79, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away September 16, 2021, at his home in Piggott, Arkansas.
He was born on January 16, 1942, in Austin, Arkansas, and was the son of the late George and Eva (Hampton) Tanner.
Paul was united in marriage to Linda Darlene Winchester on February 14, 1999.
He was preceded in death by his father, George W. Tanner; mother, Eva Elizabeth Tanner; five brothers, Henry "Johnny" Tanner, George E. Tanner, Bill Tanner, Charles Robert "Bob" Tanner, and Tim Junior Tanner; and two sisters, Agnes Foster and Opal Cosey.
Paul is survived by his wife Linda Darlene Tanner of Piggott, Arkansas; children, Brantley Tanner of Piggott, Arkansas, Blake (Carrie Reeves) Tanner of Piggott, Arkansas; and daughter, Amy (Kary) Davis of Florida; three grandchildren, Morgan Thrash, Clay (Lindsey) Tanner, and Cole (Tyara) Tanner; four great-grandchildren, Paisley Tanner, Levi Tanner, Landry Tanner, and Joycelyn Tanner; special sister niece, Barbara Burrow; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service will be held Sunday, September 19, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Kevin Murray officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
