Peggy Cook, 74, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away July 27, 2026, at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

She was born on July 31, 1951, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Druey and Opal (Nash) Hoggard.

Peggy was united in marriage to Stan Cook on September 2, 1995.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Vernon Wayne Hoggard, Carl Dean "Pete" Hoggard, Doffis Junior Hoggard, and Cornelious "Punk" Hoggard.

Peggy is survived by her husband Stan Cook; children: Judy Glud and Jarrod Cook; grandchildren: Taylor (James) Laxton, Skylar Dillard, Koty (Breanna) Dillard, Spencer Glud, Hayden Glud, August Glud, Anthony Foster, Sylvia Foster, Neigha Stetka, Chrissy (Chris) Cook, Dustin Cook, Sharon Arford, Ember Deavers, Rayburn Deavers, ad Alexia Deavers; great-grandchildren: Kyzer, Ezra, Gemma, Piper, Aurora, Drew, Alora, and Hannah; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 31, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Ronnie Stevens officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Brandon Hoggard, Bradley Hoggard, Garrett Crawford, Dustin Cook, Bud Glud, and Kevin Book. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
