Peggy Ann Finley, 75, of Rector, Arkansas, passed away February 23, 2020, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She was born on August 17, 1944, in Clarkton, Missouri, and was the daughter of the late Mary Estella McCreary Martin.
Peggy was united in marriage to Carl Finley on December 31, 1960, and to this union three children were born.
She was preceded in death by her son, Carl Johnnie Finley, Jr.; great-granddaughter, Destyne Morvan; siblings, Lois Brabbs, Lucille Martin, Clarence Martin, and Lydia Crump.
Peggy was a longtime member of Blooming Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and especially loved her grand babies who all were dear to her heart.
Survivors include her husband, Carl Finley of Rector, Arkansas; two daughters, Brenda Fivecoat of Dallas, Texas, and Courtney Johnson and husband Eli of Rector, Arkansas; grandchildren, Kattie and husband Curtis, Makiala, Kellie, Aaron, Briar, John Carl, and Autumn; great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Isabella; brother, Rev. Harvey Edward McCreary of Garland, Texas; sister, Melba Teague and husband Buddy of Dallas, Texas; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at 1:00 pm at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Owen Little officiating. Burial is in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Chris Wheat, Eli Johnson, Ricky Flippo, Curtis Morvan, John Hunter, and Austin McCaig, Honorary pallbearers will be Briar Johnson, John Carl Johnson, and Nicholas Morvan. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. until service time.
