Peggy Joyce Nagy, 79, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away December 21, 2018, at the Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas.
She was born March 19, 1939, in Gideon, Missouri, and was the daughter of the late Calyou and Eula Meade Ham.
She was united in marriage to Robert Nagy and to this union 6 children were born.
She said many times that her children were "her life." She proved to them that they were first in her life. While in Michigan, she worked as a Real Estate Agent, in Restaurants, and in her home. The family moved to Arkansas in 1983 where she continued to work at Darling Store Fixtures and the Department of Human Services. She was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Piggott, Arkansas.
Peggy was preceded in death by her father, Calyou Ham; mother, Eula Meade; daughter, Pam Painter; granddaughter, Sarah Elaine Davis; great-grandson, Michael Carter Wayne Kerley; and a sister Phyllis Davidson.
Survivors include sons, Brian Nagy and Teresa, Jim Nagy and Darla Haws; daughters, Robyn Nagy and Danny Brown and Sheila Davis and Terry all of Piggott, Arkansas; grandchildren: Erin (Nathan) Simpson of Springdale, Arkansas, Kelsey (Chad) Jones of Piggott, Arkansas, David Blackburn of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Jarrod (Courtney) Davis of Corning, Arkansas, Colby Blackburn of Piggott, Arkansas, Luke (Lindsey) Davis of Keiser, Arkansas, and Jacob (Ashley) Davis of Piggott, Arkansas; great-grandchildren: Ben, Andrew, Cameron, Lincoln, Marilyn and Robert "Bobby" Joe; brothers: Lynn Dale Ham (Lanore), Samuel Ham (Bonnie), and Billy Ham (Ute); and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, December 23, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at the Hoggard &Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Danny Self officiating. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Pallbearers are: Luke Davis, Jarrod Davis, Jacob Davis, David Blackburn, Nathan Simpson and Chad Jones. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral in Piggott, Arkansas.
