Robert Lee 'Bob' Davis, 87, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, formerly of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away December 20, 2017, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He was born on January 13, 1930, in Desha, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Sidney Wayne and Lela (Varnell) Davis. He was united in marriage to Martena Belle (Lawrence) Davis on January 1, 1955, and she preceded him in death on December 8, 2017, after 62 years of marriage. His brother, Wayne Davis also preceded him in death. Bob was a retired farmer. His daughter, Patricia Davis of Jonesboro, Arkansas, survives. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 23, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Piggott, Arkansas, with John Hiegel officiating. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Steve Lambert, Mike Lambert, Johnnie Lambert, Pharis Edwards, and Tim Holland, with Richard Forrest and Brenda Forrest serving as honorary pallbearers. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Friday 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home
