Robert Reed, 72, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away November 1, 2019. He was born on June 1, 1947, in Clay County, Arkansas, and was the son of Edgar and Mildred Reed. Robert was united in marriage to Mary Spatafora Reed on March 5, 1973, and to this union four children were born. He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Reed; mother, Mildred Reed; three brothers, James Reed, Ray Reed, Gerald Reed; and three sisters, Velma, Dorothy, Mary Jean. Robert was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Piggott, Arkansas. He enjoyed playing cards and fishing. He was a family man who loved spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife, Mary Reed of Piggott, Arkansas; daughter, Debbie (Jessie) Hopper of Fisk, Missouri; three sons, Christopher (Stacy) Reed of Piggott, Arkansas, Erick (Tristin) Reed of Piggott, Arkansas, and Chad (Jessica) Reed of Kennett, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Brittany, Jessica, Kevin, Amanda, Dillon, Haley, Jacob, Jessica, Ashton, Mollie, four great-grandchildren, Jasmine, Aubri, Alaina, Jace; two sisters, Betty Phillips of Piggott, Arkansas, and Zettie West of Piggott, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation is Tuesday, November 5, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. at the United Pentecostal Church in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Jay Masterson officiating. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Chad Reed, Erick Reed, Chris Reed, Billie Spatafora, Randall Trammell, and Jessie Hopper.
