Rosalie "Rose" Crafton, 86, of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, formerly of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away August 30, 2024, at Walnut Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation.

She was born on May 3, 1938, in Seiling, Oklahoma, and was the daughter of the late Ben and Beulah Stowers.

Rose was united in marriage to Charles Crafton on September 18, 1957.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Crafton and daughter, Delta Crafton.

Rose was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Piggott. A current member of the Ladies' Auxiliary to the V.F.W. Post #4517 in Piggott. She spent 41 years serving the Girls Scouts of America as leader of several troops, day camp director, council trainer, product sales manager, and service team manager.

Rose is survived by her two daughters, Laveda Whiteside of Piggott, Arkansas, and Christine (Steve) Wall of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Matthew (Danielle) Wall of Walcott, Arkansas, Luke (Audrey Jane) Wall of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Kyle (Nikki) Johnson of Paragould, Arkansas, Briana Lenay Gorgus of Paragould, Arkansas, Bryce Whiteside of Campbell, Missouri; eight great-grandchildren, Macklynn James Wall, Ezra Rose Wall, Keston Aaron Johnson, Josie Caroline Johnson, Xander Wayne Dalele, Kaden Aaron Lee Calhoun, Khia Maleah Calhoun, and Kennedi Allenia Gargus.

Graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas, with Rob Combs officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
