Ruby Juanita Guite died February 14, 2021, at her home in Piggott, Arkansas, at the age of 80 years.
She was born Ruby Juanita Williams on December 24, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan to parents Alvin and Nora (Seal) Williams. She was a member of the Piggott High School class of 1959.
Nita loved nature and spent many years working at her father's nursery, Al Williams and Son. In her later years she enjoyed visiting and helping others at the Piggott Nursing home.
She is survived by her son and his wife, Jay and Sarah Guite; grandsons, Jonathan Guite and wife Amanda, Cutter Guite and Max Guite; sisters, Joyce (Williams) Moore and Irene (Williams) Joplin; aunt, Marjorie (Seal) Weber; sister-in-law, June (Vancil) Williams; and her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Glenda (Williams) Byrd; and brother, Royce Williams.
At her request there will be no memorial service. Nita was an avid animal lover, and if moved to do so, consider donating to a local animal rescue organization.
