Sharion Kay (Fry) Mayo, 70, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away August 31, 2017, at her home in Piggott. She was born on July 21, 1947, in Squaretown, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Johnnie and Hazel Reagan Fry. She was united in marriage to Garland Mayo on October 4, 1980. He preceded her in death on July 13, 2004. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Dallas Fry. She is survived by her two daughters: Sherrie Wofford and husband Dale of Crockett, Arkansas, and Shelly Samples and husband Bryan of Piggott, Arkansas; grandchildren: Brandon Wofford of Jonesboro, Bash Wofford of Piggott, Blade Wofford and wife Kristian of Paragould, Hunter Samples of Piggott, and Hayden Samples of Piggott, Arkansas; great-grandson, Xander Wofford of Paragould; sister, Linda Barnwell and husband Joe of Bourbon, Missouri; sister-in-law, Sharon Fry of Campbell, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends. She loved her family and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017, at 4:00 p.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Jason Williams officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Bryan Samples, Hayden Samples, Brandon Wofford, Bash Wofford, Blade Wofford, and Shayne Barnwell. Hunter Samples will serve as honorary pallbearer. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 2, 2017, from 2:30 p.m. until service time.
