Sharon Kay Lingle, 80, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away February 23, 2023, at Piggott Community Hospital.

She was born on September 9, 1942, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Grady Brauton and Kathleen (Pillow) Seal.

Sharon was united in marriage to John R. Lingle on June 2, 1963.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Lingle; granddaughter, Ashton Lee Lingle; and her parents.

Sharon graduated from Piggott High School in 1960. She worked alongside her father and brother for over 30 years at Seal's Pharmacy where she loved serving the people. She was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Piggott. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Cara Lingle of Piggott, Arkansas; brothers Jim Seal and wife Donna of Conway, Arkansas, and Bill Seal and wife Cathy of Dequeen, Arkansas; sisters-in-law, Linda Lingle of Washington, DC and Kaye Koonce and husband Randy of Charleston, South Carolina; nieces and nephews: Kyle Seal, Emily McCarron, Daniel Seal, and Katie Bonilla; chosen "family" - Donna Ring, John Rodery, and Susan Fry and family; many great-nieces and nephews and a community of friends.

Funeral Services will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Dr. Kyle Seal officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be David Gregory, Benny Fry, James Patrick McCarron, Sean McCarron, Daniel Seal, and Randy Koonce. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas.
