Shelby Jean Mullins, 81, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away March 10, 2020, at Magnolia Manor in Piggott, Arkansas. She was born on May 26, 1938, in Advance, Missouri, and was the daughter of Norman and Gertie (Bess) Davis. Shelby was united in marriage to Donald Ray Mullins on January 11, 1958. She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Cooper, mother, Gertie Davis, husband, Donald Ray Mullins. She was a longtime member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Piggott, Arkansas. She loved her grandchildren and the St. Louis Cardinals. Survivors include her sons, Bobby Mullins and wife Lisa Girtman Mullins of Piggott, Arkansas, Tim Mullins and wife Carolyn of Pollard, Arkansas, grandchildren, Rachel Olsen and husband Damon of Piggott, Arkansas and Austin Mullins of Corning, Arkansas; four step grandchildren: Lisa Murphy and husband Michael of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, John Poe and Lisa Anderson of Pollard, Arkansas, and Lori White and husband Aaron of Kennett, Missouri; great-grandson, Parker Olsen of Piggott, Arkansas, step great-grandchildren, Drake Olsen, Clayton Poe, Jake Poe, Logan Moody, Macy Buchanan, and Lane Buchanan; several great-great step grandchildren; brother, Norman Dwain Cooper and fiancé Elba of Almo, Texas; sisters, Melva Louise McFarlin of Belton, Missouri, Carol Ruth Staggs and husband Melvin of Bloomfield, Missouri; special niece, Shelby Ray Cooper of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 14, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. with Kevin Murray officiating. Burial is Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Shelby Ray Cooper, Allen Chappell, Ricky Haywood, Jake Poe, Carol Moore, and Larry Lovelace. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Legacy Hospice, 610C Highway 67B, Walnut Ridge, AR 72476.
