Shelia Ann Burnine, 64, of Pollard, Arkansas, passed away May 30, 2018, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on February 22, 1954, in St Louis Missouri, and was the daughter of the late Charles A. Burnine and Velia Doris Holland Burnine Montgomery. Shelia was preceded in death by her father, Charles A. Burnine; her mother, Velia Doris Montgomery; her stepfather, Gaylon Montgomery; and her sister, Shirley Glass. She is survived by her sister, June Jones and husband James of Pollard, Arkansas; brother-in-law, Clark Glass; three nephews: John Glass and wife Jaymie and Seth Glass and wife Cari and Zackery Jones; two nieces: Veronica and Raelyn Jones; three great-nieces: Willow, Violet, and Jade Glass; and many aunts and uncles and other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held, Friday, June 1, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. at Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas, with Shelly Elkins officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
