Shirley Royce Crowson, 85, of Kilgore, Texas, passed away January 12, 2022, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. She was born on February 28, 1936, in Campbell, Missouri and was the daughter of the late Lonnie and Thelma (Paisley) Brady. Shirley was united in marriage Ronald Aaron Crowson on December 23, 1958. Royce loved ballroom dancing and was known as "Moondancer." Shirley is survived by her husband, Ronald Aaron Crowson of Kilgore, Texas; two daughters, Nikki Crowson of Piggott, Arkansas, and Tonny Crowson Featherston and husband Bobby of Piggott, Arkansas; grandson, Brock Russell and wife Fallon of Piggott, Arkansas; great-grandchildren, Alexis Russell, Alyssa Russell, and Mack Aaron Russell; sisters, Melba Joe Fort of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Gloria Jean Castleberry of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Sharon Rose Tibbs and husband Coy of Houston, Texas; sisters-in-law, Beverly Rice and husband Bob, TeJuana Turner, and JoNell Sale; and many other relatives and friends.
